X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and while we accept new characters we strongly encourage people to adopt one of our orphans.

Christmas in Attilan was picture perfect.

Alas, I am back here now. Everyone who matters has given their fondest regards to those who remember here. The mansion should have received a fruit basket.

Snow this early in the year. Charming, New York. I propose the upcoming Turkey Gluttony Holiday be held in San Martin.

The American university Halloween experience has been enlightening.

Unfortunately, my choice of costume* has caused some issues with people confusing me with Hermes. This is incredibly annoying, as I tried to take inspiration from some of the more famous statues of Poseidon which most people should know of (additionally accounting for American modesty). Yet gold laurels, a trident, and high-thread count sheets are not enough.

Any thoughts on how to make my costume more apparent and cut down on comments concerning my mutation?

*I am tired of Miss Colbert's prediction hanging over me and have decided that if fate wants me, it can take me on.

Life hack.

Pumpkin. I don't get the obsession. Apparently, this is an issue to vocalize loudly in Starbucks.

To whomever replaced my alarm and ringtones:

First of all, shame on you.

Second of all, I feel this Lorde artist starts off the song with a very realistic world view about the nature of aristocracy, but then veers dangerously into the modern assumption that "living like a king" is the same as being one.

If anyone sees Miss Abbott, please feel free to remind her that Emily Post recommends guests "should arrive at or shortly after (usually only fifteen minutes) the time stated in the invitation. Do not, however, arrive early."

Or should call if they intend to cancel.

Edit: The situation has been clarified.

Aw, Pepe. What was that meant to do?

King Juan Carlos announces his plans to abdicate.

Prepare the army, men. Spain lies weak and prone to the north.

In all seriousness — a bold but not unexpected move with Spain's recent economic and political turmoils (and weak World Cup group ranking). I have had the pleasure of meeting Crown Prince Felipe and he will undoubtedly bring a new gravitas to the throne. He is also a fierce sailor.

Thankfully this American Basketball thing ends tonight so that we can all properly focus on the upcoming World Cup.

While a daring move on Disney's part to explore mutant acceptance in fantasy settings, I feel like the parts with Hans and his kingdom grasping were handled very poorly. Succession was of untold import in Danish princedoms, and Elsa would have had a retainer for the years she was unfit to claim the crown. Eliminating her as a potential threat without any witnesses (or a treaty between his parents and the kingdom of Arrendale) would have just plunged the tiny kingdoms into a war as the aristocracy struggled to gain power and deal with Han's lack of planning. Alas. You can only expect so many things from a twelfth son.

Then they all wouldn't see Elsa's snow-monster army approaching to reign horrible, terrible vengeance.

After returning to my room after a post-lake shower, I was displeased to find that someone had filled by room with glitter. I applaud the sheer scope of it: it's the fine, grainy stuff that's impossible to get out mixed with larger, more sparkly bits. The tinsel around the window was also creative. It must have taken a lot of effort to spread so thoroughly.

Still, I must take this as a personal affront. I am not homophobic. From what I've found on the internet, "glitter-bombing" is a form of protest. I'm confused and a little disappointed if this is what people here think of me. EDIT: Apparently this is a common "welcome" here. Shots fired.

I am also covered in water-colored pastel glitter that will not come off. I will be wearing it with pride for the rest of the day. I have nothing to hide.

Greetings, Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. I am Namor, Marqués de McKenzie, Heir to the Dukedom of Thakkar, of the Royal Line of Agon. I am Attilani, and proud to continue my nation’s positive student exchange program with this institution.

I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting a few of you last summer. You may know that I am studying at Columbia, but I have recently had reason to take up residency within the mansion.

I am sure that we will all strive to treat each other with the due respect and cordialness valued here at Xavier’s. I look forward to meeting each of you.
